Dresser Huw
This substantial tallboy chest of drawers has been transformed into a stunning statement piece through a bespoke botanical redesign, commissioned to complement a client’s cherished Sanderson “Catherinae Embroidery” fabric scheme.
The entire piece has been finished in Fusion Mineral Paint “Inglenook”—a sophisticated soft sage green that provides the perfect canvas for the hand-painted artwork. A climbing chrysanthemum design cascades gracefully across all five drawer fronts, its delicate pink blooms and silvery-grey foliage creating an elegant visual flow from bottom to top.
Each chrysanthemum flower has been carefully hand-painted with intricate detail—soft blush petals radiating outward, highlighted with white accent dots that add depth and dimension. The slender stems and graceful leaves weave seamlessly across the drawer divisions, creating the illusion of a single botanical study spanning the piece.
The thoughtful colour palette extends throughout: a pale cream top and matching turned bun feet frame the sage body beautifully, whilst satin brass knobs add warm metallic accents that complement the pink tones of the flowers.
With five generously sized drawers, this tallboy offers exceptional storage capacity for clothing, linens, or any bedroom essentials. The traditional panelled drawer fronts and solid construction speak to the quality of the original piece, now given new life through this artistic transformation.
A truly bespoke commission that demonstrates how vintage furniture can be reimagined to perfectly complement a client’s interior scheme—functional art for the bedroom.
Every commission is crafted with meticulous care and unwavering dedication to bringing your vision to life.
